a mango smoothie!

Our philosophy here at The Berry Cartel is to eat whole fruits and vegetables whenever possible. We believe smoothies can be an incredibly nourishing part of your diet. Smoothies make it easy to pack in all the nutrients of your favorite produce into one drinkable cup—which is great when you’re on the go or short on time.

And let’s be honest, smoothies are just absolutely delicious (and also super instagram post worthy)! We are big believers that you also need to nourish your soul with your food, and drinking something with the perfect balance of tangy and sweet brings a smile to your face along with being as healthy as healthy can be.

There really is no wrong way to make a smoothie, but I think these recipes are a great jumping-off point if the blender intimidates you. A mango smoothie is an office favourite and could be a new addition to your daily dose of happy meals!

Ingredients required:
• 1 cup ice cubes
• 2 cups frozen mango chunks
• 1⁄2 cup banana slices
• 1⁄2 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 3⁄4 cup orange juice
• 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

How to make the smoothie:
• Add ice cubes, frozen mango, banana slices, yogurt, orange juice, and honey (if using) to a blender
• Cover and process on medium speed for about 30 seconds, using the tamper as needed.
• Increase to high speed for 15 to 30 seconds until thick and smooth.
• Adjust the smoothie with more orange juice if needed to reach the desired consistency.

As mentioned earlier, there is no correct or wrong way to make a smoothie. In fact, we loveexperimenting with various fruits and techniques and would encourage you to do so too.
